Turkey is a very cool country that is located in the continent of Asia and Europe. The population in Turkey is 76,187,000 and the capital is Ankara. The people of Turkey have a democratic republic government and their constitution was approved in 1982. In Turkey they mostly speak Turkish. A lot of Turkish people came from Asia. The type of clothing worn by women are a stylish casual dress or a clean modest dress. People in Turkey mostly live in apartments. Grade school is K-8 and high school is 9-12th grade. If you want to go to university children must pass an entrance test. People in Turkey live in urban and rural environments . The country has many low lands and mountains. The climate in the winter is mild and rainy. The climate in the summer is hot and dry. Turkey's natural resources are coal, iron, copper, chromium, antony, mercury, gold, barite, borate, and celestite. The crops and livestock are frog legs, wheat, corn, barley, rice, tomatoes, figs, raisins, olives, hazel nuts, pistachio nuts, and citrus fruits. The goods they manufacture are clothing, textiles, processed foods, cars, lumber and paper. The country exports cotton and tobacco. The best known animals are deer, wild goats, lynxes, wildcats, and bears. The animals on the endangered list are monk seals, northern bard, and an ibis. Homemade food is still preferred by Turkish people. Some foods they like to eat are fried vegetables such as eggplant or peppers. Another food they like is potatoes served with yogurt and tomato sauce. turkey has the second werst jail press. I learned that Turkey is a very cool counry and would like to visit it one day.
